Mental Health Support

We all know and see how much stigma surrounds mental health and reaching out, and even more so for our young people. It is crucial to us to normalize mental health and highlight how differently each person's journey looks. There is no comparing of situations or experiences.

Our focus is to ensure our clients feel seen, heard and have their feelings and concerns validated when speaking to us about their mental health issues or concerns.

We value creating a safe, secure and non-traditional environment when speaking about mental health which may look like a cup of coffee in the back yard, going for a walk in fresh air or doing an activity which can create a bit of an ice breaker. Services for mental health can often feel quite institutionalized and empty, which can trigger some fears or heightened emotions from some people causing them to shut down or not want to speak at all.

We don't believe there should be a dedicated space to talk about the state of your mental wellbeing, it should be done anywhere you feel comfortable enough to express yourself and how you're feeling.

We strive to create a strong support network around our clients to address their mental health needs and concerns efficiently. We work every day to continue to build relationships with other services and stakeholders that can offer treatments or knowledge to our clients.
